Wrap book(s) in any of these:
- Plastic shopping bag
- Cling wrap
- Ziplock / bread bag
- Seal it tight

Cushion the book
Use what you have at home:
- Newspaper
- Old magazines
- Bubble wrap
- Brown paper (wrap once or twice)

Add a sturdy outer layer
Choose one (and reinforce with tape if needed):
- Reused courier sleeve
- Recycled cardboard box
- Cereal box (reinforce with tape)
- Brown paper wrapped tightly

Tape it well
Seal all edges & corners—more tape = safer delivery.
- Packing tape
- Masking tape
- Duct tape
- Extra sellotape if needed

Address clearly
Couriers need details. Include:
- Recipient name
- Street address + suburb
- Contact number
- Write clearly or attach a printed label

Sending multiple books?
Keep them snug so nothing shifts in transit.
- Stack flat (biggest at bottom)
- Plastic wrap the stack
- Cardboard on both sides
- Tape tightly so nothing shifts

Final check: the shake test
Give it a gentle shake.
Movement?
Add padding and re-tape.
Solid?
Ready to ship.
