3

Add to cart

Pick your book(s) and add them to your cart.

  • Open the listing
  • Review the condition and price
  • Add it to your cart

Important: If you add books from multiple vendors, each vendor will have their own delivery fee — your total delivery cost may vary.

4

Checkout & payment

Pay securely and review delivery fees per vendor.

  • Proceed to checkout
  • Review your order summary (including delivery fees per vendor)
  • Pay securely using available payment options
5

Delivery

Couriers are arranged automatically and you’ll get tracking.

  • Sellers are notified to prepare and ship your books
  • You receive tracking updates as your order is on its way

If you ordered from more than one vendor, your books may arrive in separate packages and at different times.

6

Order confirmation

Once delivery is confirmed, the transaction is completed.

  • Delivery is confirmed
  • Sellers are paid only after successful delivery
  • Enjoy your books — you’re supporting local readers and reducing waste

Good to know: Delivery fees are calculated per vendor, not per order. Buying from the same vendor can reduce delivery costs.

Getting paid

Payouts are released only after delivery is confirmed.

No upfront fees. A small service fee is only applied once a book sells.

Fees example (R100 sale)

Simple and transparent.

  • Your asking price: R100
  • Platform fee: 10% → adds R10 to the buyer’s total
  • Total book price for buyer: R110
  • Transaction fee: R4 (deducted from your payout)
  • Your payout: R96

You set your own price — we don’t mark it up beyond the platform fee. Standard courier fees apply based on parcel size and weight.
